First Year Registrations

2012 is upon us and we look forward to welcoming you on campus. Kindly take note of the following registration dates when preparing to register.
If you would like to register earlier than these dates, please contact your campus and arrange an appointment with your Relationship Navigator (if you are 2nd or 3rd year). If you are a 1st year student (or registering at Vega for the first time) who would like to register earlier please arrange an appointment with your Contact Navigator.
REGISTRATION DAYS
The dates and times below are reserved for registration and have been scheduled according to year and programme of study:
Programme/s
- BA Brand Building and Management 1 - Wednesday 1 February - 09h00-12h30
- Higher Certificate in Photography - Wednesday 1 February - 13h30-17h00
- Advanced Certificate in Professional Photography - Wednesday 1 February - 13h30-17h00
- Diploma in Integrated Brand Communications 1 - Thursday 2 February - 09h00-12h00
- BA Honours in Brand Leadership (full-time and part-time) - Thursday 2 February - 13h00-17h00
- BA Communications Management specialising in Creative Brand Communications 1 - Surnames commencing "A" through to "M" - Friday 3 February - 09h00-12h30
- BA Communications Management specialising in Creative Brand Communications 1 - Surnames commencing "N" through to "Z" - Friday 3 February - 13h30-16h00
Please ensure that you bring the following documents on the day that you come through to register (or before) otherwise you will not be permitted to register:
- ORIGINAL Registration Contract already completed in full and signed where indicated by the student, parent/guardian and account payer. Please also ensure that the bottom of each page is initialed, as are all other designated spaces in the Terms and Conditions – acknowledging awareness and acceptance of specific clauses.
- Legally certified copy of the student’s ID (passport if a foreign student)
- Legally certified copy of the Account Payer’s ID (or passport)
- Legally certified copy of student’s National Senior Certificate (or equivalent)
- Legally certified copy of student’s post-graduate qualificationsin (applicable to the Honours, Advanced Certificate and Advanced Diploma students)
- Valid study permit made out to the Independent Institute of Education (applicable to foreign students)
- SAQA/HESA evaluations of foreign qualifications obtained (if applicable)
- Official translations of foreign language documents if applicable
For your convenience, Vega has authorised Navigators on each campus who can certify documentation. Please bring your originals plus copies and we will certify on campus. Please note, faxed or e-mailed copies of certified documents will not be accepted.
PLEASE NOTE: Van Schaik Book Stores will be on campus selling prescribed text books during registration or orientation - please confirm with your campus. We look forward to journeying with you in 2012!
