Junior Graphic Designer

- We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Graphic Designer to join our in-house marketing team in a corporate environment.
- As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will work closely with the marketing team to develop and design visual assets that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project objectives, target audience, and creative briefs.
- Design and produce high-quality visual assets, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, banners, infographics, presentations, social media graphics, and advertisements.
- Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent brand identity across all materials.
- Create visually compelling designs that effectively communicate key messages and engage the target audience.
- Research current design trends and techniques to continually enhance design quality and stay up-to-date with industry standards.
- Assist with photo retouching, image sourcing, and other related tasks to support design projects. Collaborate with other team members to brainstorm and contribute ideas for design concepts and strategies.
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Stay organized and maintain an organized file structure to ensure easy retrieval of design assets.
- Collaborate with external vendors, such as printers or photographers, to ensure the successful production of printed materials.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
- Proficient in industry standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Solid understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, colour theory, and composition.
- Basic knowledge of print production processes and specifications.
- Familiarity with digital design best practices for web and social media platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts and ideas.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take constructive feedback positively.
- A creative mindset with a willingness to explore new ideas and design techniques.
