Marketing Intern

We are recruiting for a Marketing Intern for our client within the womens personal care industry based in Umhlanga.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

• All brand development & creation, marketing, design & manufacturing functions are done in-house, allowing full control of the entire value chain from concept creation and development, to manufacturing, supplying to retailers and managing the ATL and BTL activities.
• Not only do we have a passion for brands, but we care about making a difference to create a positive impact in society and enhance consumers lives. We partner with many local NPO’s to support and uplift communities in need.
• All our brands and products are endorsed by Beauty Without Cruelty and PETA.
• The desired candidate will be required to perform the following which may not be limited to: Assisting on gifting related tasks:
• Creating value of contents tables
• Copy writing
• Putting together packing instructions
• Assisting with CAD forms
• Assisting with completing Bill of Material forms
• Assisting with the overall bag project where required
• Assisting with mock-ups on the gifting project
• Researching competitors’ offerings and pricing
• Setting up planograms where required

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric with pass in Math’s – preferred Marketing Degree or Honours degree (including Finance/Business Science grads) or IMM Diploma.
• No work experience is necessary. High attention to detail and accuracy, comfortable working with numbers and creative artwork. 
• Computer and Excel skills
• Great team working skills
• The ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken word)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Own reliable transport (position will be based in Umhlanga) Inter-personal skills
• Someone who is meticulous and deadline driven with a good eye for detail, yet dynamic and able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to cope whilst under pressure. 
• Needs to have the ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner with both internal and external interfaces and at all levels.
• A great team player who wants to be involved in a winning company and brands.
• Strong work ethics and values.
• Organized/driven and committed to learning and having fun doing so.
