Student – Marketing & Design

Social Media 

• Creation, scheduling and management of social media content across various platforms • Social media engagement and monitoring
• Analysis and reporting on social media performance metrics
• Reporting on queries that arise on social media

Internal Communication

• Development and distribution of internal communication (e.g., Koeitjies & Kalfies, MyBimeda, newsletter) 3. Marketing support
• Maintaining and updating Afrivet Assets Folder
• Distribution of marketing material
• Creation and distribution of training certificates
• Creation of basic designs
• Marketing material request support
• General marketing support, as needed
• Support with event planning Any other related duties that may arise during the day-to-day functioning of the Marketing team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/COMPETENCIES CRITERIA:

• Relevant communication, digital marketing or graphic design qualification
• Basic understanding of social media and digital marketing practices
• Proficiency in InDesign is advantageous
• Solid reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
• Solid MS Word/Excel skills combined with the rest of MS package
• Preference will be provided to all Designated candidates aligned with the Employment Equity Act
