The Digital Marketing Assistant supports the digital marketing team in executing various marketing strategies and campaigns.
This role involves assisting in content creation, managing social media accounts, analyzing campaign performance, and maintaining digital marketing tools and platforms.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, creative, and able to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation and Management:
- Assist in developing content for various digital platforms, including blog posts, social media, email newsletters, and website updates.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with designers and copywriters to create visually appealing and engaging materials.
Social Media Management:
- Help manage and schedule posts across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
- Monitor social media channels for engagement, comments, and messages, and respond appropriately. Track social media trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for engagement.
Campaign Support:
- Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and social media ads.
- Help with campaign setup, monitoring, and optimization based on performance data.
- Compile and analyze campaign performance reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
SEO and Website Maintenance:
- Support SEO efforts by conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, and tracking website analytics.
- Assist in monitoring website performance and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Collaborate with the web development team to implement changes and updates.
Market Research:
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
- Gather and analyze data to support strategic decision-making and identify new opportunities.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain and organize digital marketing materials, documents, and files.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as needed for campaign execution.
- Assist in managing marketing budgets and tracking expenses.
- Previous experience in digital marketing or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing software).
- Basic understanding of SEO, content marketing, and social media best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
