Decor and Design is a leading kitchen studio in Pietermaritzburg, specializing in custom kitchen designs, bedroom designs and complete home renovations and installations. BDM Decor and Design has a vacancy for an Interior Designer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design custom interior layouts and cabinetry based on client needs and preferences
• Create 3D renderings and visualizations of interior designs
• Select materials, finishes, and fixtures for projects 
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in interior design -Assist with showroom maintenance and organization
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-installation follow-up 
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's product offerings, including features, benefits, and pricing
• Conduct on-site measurements and assessments to ensure accurate and precise product recommendations
• Collaborate with design and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• A diploma or equivalent in Interior design would be advantageous 

Work Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Interior Designer using CAD or Winner

Special Requirement:

• Driver’s licence
