eCommerce and Digital Content Position

Cam-A-Lot Rentals is expanding its eCommerce offering. We are looking for someone to help bring products to market.

• This position requires the content creation of product listings, omnichannel implementation and digital marketing.
• Marketing knowledge, content writing, website building and graphic design skills are essential.
• The position requires someone who can work independently and is self-motivated and managed.
• Is a problem solver with initiative and builds effective systems in approach to repetitive problems or processes.
• Can take feedback and implement learnings.
• Has good attention to detail while enjoying work which exercises a variety of creative competences.
• Please note Covid-19 vaccinations are mandatory as per company policy.
• This position is for the Randburg branch of Cam-A-Lot Rentals
• Graphic Design duties and responsibilities include; editing, enhancing and creating product images, graphics and content in Photoshop and InDesign.
• eCommerce duties and responsibilities include; creating and uploading product listings on multiple platforms while managing consistency and best practice implementation.
• Digital marketing duties and responsibilities include; creating copy for ads, products and website content. Online marketing campaigns, email marketing as well as social media strategic, management and implementation.

• Above average computer literacy
• Sizable knowledge in using the relevant software including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Photoshop, Lightroom WordPress, WooCommerce
• Knowledge of the various Social Media platforms and their design best practice; Meta, Twitter, and Google.
• Understanding file size, file types, DPI and dimension requirements for all digital elements.

Preferable:

• Any relevant qualifications
• Suitable work experience
• A good working knowledge of the following tools - InDesign, Illustrator, Filezilla, cPanel, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Data Studio, Google Search Console, Google My Business, Google Tag Manager, Google Merchant Centre, Hubspot, SEO, Takealot Marketplace, Makro Marketplace, Leroy Merlin Marketplace, Meta Business Suit, TikTok for Business

Core skillset should include

• A creative flair for the graphic design and creation of digital content
• A natural curiosity, interest in learning with great problem solving
• Website creating, optimisation and maintenance
• The ability to design beyond templates and create new art direction when needed
• The ability to continually produce work that is technically correct and of high quality
• The ability to use or generate tools and systems to produce work at scale i.e., Templates and Automations
