  • We are looking for a passionate marketing assistant and personal assistant.
  • The ideal candidate will have a marketing design education.
  • A strong sense of ownership and attention to detail in their work ethic are prerequisites for the role.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with a solid grasp of marketing principles and experience in digital marketing and social media management.
  • The candidate will be championing the marketing experience, basic interface design and maintaining the CBM CI and brand identity front across all traditional and digital marketing platforms.
  • Authenticity and ownership is important, ego not so much.

Administrative duties:

  • Update online Microsoft To Do list
  • Keep filing up to date
  • Supplier deliverables and managing expectations, suppliers
  • SLA’s and quotations
  • Invoicing
  • Monthly reports and digital month to month comparisons
  • Take responsibility for the office administrative elements including liaison with service providers e.g. IT consultants, digital agency, printers, promotional suppliers as well as the business development team, and operations team.

Advantageous:

  • Understands Social Media Facebook, Instagram,TikTok, YouTube and basic Content Management System CMS
  • Interest in content creation, reels and video editing
  • Interest in new technologies
  • Interest in research

Skills and Character:

  • Attention to detail, great organisation and prioritisation skills, and the ability to plan ahead
  • A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with staff and members
  • The candidate will be comfortable in a goal focused and changing environment
  • The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, possess the ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal guidance, and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
  • Highly organised and professional Is confident, resourceful, decisive and willing to take initiative
  • Able to work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team
  • A drive to continually learn and grow professionally

Data analysis and database management

  • Analyse and update database demographics and segments
  • Database management and clean up
  • Update segments on database

Social Media:

  • Schedule in house content to be posted on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn Community management of Social Media accounts Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Record Social Media activity weekly account of page likes and unlike’s, new followers etc.
  • Respond to queries
  • Monitor and join relevant online communities for tactical opportunities
  • Executing on the social media elements of relevant marketing campaigns
  • Grow the online community in conjunction with email marketing campaigns
  • Report on analytics of various social media platforms and online forums monthly

Content development and email campaigns:

  • Create content for social media channels on Canva
  • Video editing beginner to intermediate level on Canva
  • Create and send out email campaigns via MailChimp and Active Campaign

 Website Management

  • Update website course dates, prices, location and content if and when needed
  • Pull monthly reports from Google Analytics and corresponded with digital agency on report monthly delivery.
  • Digital Marketing Receive a conceptualised brief, integrate design and produce a full range of high impact print and digital material that are consistent with the brand identity and requirements
  • Create original graphics and layouts for illustrations, social platforms using graphic design software Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva Conceptualise and develop innovative ideas and concepts for media application

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR TASKS:

  • Receiving client documents, scanning client documents, arranging for client document collection.
  • Arranging and coordinating collection of documents from clients and other parties including correspondence and preparations of files for collection from other accountants.
  • Recording of all client document movements in and out of the office.
  • Attending to the archiving of client documents, maintaining archiving lists.
  • Drafting of various professional letters and communications including Managing office related items
  • PA to CEO-Exco Team
  • The role of the PA is to free the CEO Exco team’s time from administrative duties so that he can spend maximum time on strategic tasks.
  • Acting as a first point of contact, dealing with correspondence, phone calls and emails
  • Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments
  • Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
  • Assist with organising training and bookings
  • Reminding the CEO Exco team of important tasks and deadlines
  • Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence
  • Managing databases and filing systems
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures and administrative systems
  • Liaising with staff and clientsCollating and filing expenses

  • Grade 12
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well Organised and professional
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Computer Literate with advanced skills in MS Word, MS Outlook with Excel WordPres,s Canva, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign Suite
  • Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Proactiveness and willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Decision making skills Effective verbal and listening communications skills
  • Effective written communications skills
