Junior Graphic Designer

For this role, we seek a creative, motivated, and dynamic Graphic Designer with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for innovative design and effective messaging.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, comprehend, and adhere to design briefs.
• Design innovative ideas and high-quality artwork in close collaboration with the Junior Marketer.
• Establish creative direction within CAG guidelines, specifications, and Corporate Identity.
• Assist with video content creation and editing.
• Create and design various materials for digital and print mediums (e.g., newsletters, social media, branding, mailers, etc.).
• Design across multiple digital channels, including website development.
• Collaborate with the Junior Marketer to address challenges through innovative designs.
• Contribute actively to team brainstorms and conceptualise ideas.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, we are looking for individuals with:

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Graphic Design degree or a similar qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Video editing skills would be advantageous.
• Exceptional design sense and a keen eye for detail.
• Self-leadership and the ability to take initiative.
• Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
