Dermalogica Marketing Assistant

Dermalogica South Africa is looking for a brilliant Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Executive and Brand Manager, as well as the larger Marketing Team. Responsibilities:

• Assist the marketing team with the planning, creation, and execution of multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns.
• Following up of projects in progress with the marketing team, ensuring all projects are finished according to allocated times.
• Support the entire marketing function with administrative, invoices, raising purchase orders, approving invoices, and creating new vendors.
• Update payment tracker / running list and monthly signed POs.
• Co-op submissions assistance with guidance.
• Maintain and disseminate on a timely basis competitor information based on input from Global & Local Marketing teams as well as their own secondary searches. Weekly report on competitor promotional activity within the market.
• Assist with taking minutes at the weekly Marketing meeting, as well as other relevant meetings. Product & samples management ordering.
• Packing of product (Ad hoc brand, Trade & Concept Stores)
• Keeping the Marketing Storeroom neat and organised. 
• Coordinate all marketing printing and distribution (Includes trade) In-store merchandising support through tracking of window vinyl & banners suppliers on timeous execution of window installations, collating monthly in-store merchandise pictures.

In-store events and administration:

• Assist with Emailer and social media posts briefs to designer for in-store events. 
• Collate event post-mortem reports based on reports and feedback from Sales Team.
• Public Relations, and event support.
• Ad hoc duties as required.

Job Skills and Qualifications 

• Sales and/ or Marketing tertiary qualification.
• 2+ years relevant experience.
• Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills along with excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure.
• Computer proficiency – MS Office.
• Attention to detail.
• Friendly, professional, and meticulous.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize.
• Project management and organisational skills. 
• Driver's license and own transport.
