Junior Graphic Designer and Lay Out Artist

Gazebo World is celebrating 20 years in the branding industry this year, 2024. We have built up a reputation of being the best in the industry.

We have a position open for a graphic designer who will work very closely with our print production manager. Our in house large format printing facilities are high tech and include 3m wide fabric sublimation, uv printing, direct to textile printing.

As you learn the ropes you will be exposed to how large format printing works, Rip software, and one day possibly assist with large format print production. We generally receive artwork and or logos from clients in vector PDF format. Your job will be to take this artwork, create basic, sometimes, complex designs in our product specific design templates. 

These designs will be for gazebos, flags, banners, pop ups, event branding, table cloths and so on....

Working hours will be from 8am till 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm on Fridays, but if we have urgent orders for the week after we sometimes do work till 5pm on Fridays.

The brands you will be doing designs, layouts for, are from all walks of life and include massive South African brands to small shops on the street corner.

Starting salary, depending on experience and how much you already know and can do: R8 000 to R10 000 per month.

• Must be fully Adobe, Photoshop, a bit of coral draw, literate.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure.
• Must have good attention to detail.
