We’re looking for a creative & detail-oriented Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team.
You’ll support our Head of Product Marketing in delivering quality, brand-consistent marketing content across Finch Technologies – spanning Fincheck, FundingHub, Gathr.
In this role, you’ll get to jump right into everything from social media management, content writing, and newsletters to designing pitch decks and helping out with events. If you’re proactive and excited to learn, this Digital Marketing Assistant role will give you the chance to grow your skills while making a real impact on how people see and connect with our products.
Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Content Creation Social Media:
- Create, design, and schedule engaging posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Ensure brand voice consistency and visual alignment.
Content writing:
- Help research, draft, and publish blog posts for FundingHub and Fincheck, as well as technical posts about Gathr’s products.
- You’ll work with our engineering, product and marketing teams to ensure the content is accurate, easy to read, and engaging.
Newsletters:
- Assist in crafting and designing monthly newsletters, using tools like SendGrid.
- Source and curate relevant imagery and maintain brand aesthetics.
Assist in brainstorming sessions:
- Contribute suggestions that elevate content strategy and audience engagement.
- Event Support Support the Product Marketing & Sales team with planning and execution of internal and external events, including product launches, workshops, and in-person events.
- Design Help turn written briefs into polished, on-brand sales decks and proposals.
- Create eye-catching visuals for pitches, social media, product updates, and marketing materials, using the design tools provided to keep designs consistent and engaging.
Qualifications/Experience Minimum Requirements:
- Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Copywriting, Advertising, Graphic Design, Journalism (Design focus), or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience (vocational or part-time work during studies will be considered).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and ideally InDesign). Using Canva will be a requirement, but Adobe background will be beneficial.
- Comfortable using marketing tools like Simplified, SEMranking, SendGrid etc. Exceptional writing skills, with a focus on producing engaging, SEO-optimised content Organised, proactive, and able to take ownership of tasks and deadlines.
