- National senior certificate
- Driver’s license
- Languages; Fluent in English and one other SA language – preferably Afrikaans (area dependent)
- 6 years’ experience in customer care
- Knowledge of textiles/ fabric industry
- Sales, Customer Services, Product Knowledge, Negotiation, Presentation Skills, Database Management, Branding, Public Relations & Publicity, Report Writing, MS Office
- Able to work under pressure, attention to detail, problem solving ability, communication and interpersonal skills, planning & organising skills
- Credit processing supported, and stock returned to the warehouse with correct documentation
- Pre-load handling fees on the system
- Refunds request processed and sent to accounts for payment
- Professional customer services delivered
- General enquiries responded to courteously and accurate information supplied
- Stock checks, price checks (retail vs. wholesale) and reservation requests responded to accurately on the same day
- Replacement fabrics offered on discontinued ranges or out of stock items
- Feedback on queries and delivery dates is provided
- Complaints assessed, processed and responded to in line with guidelines and policies
- Written customer communication typed up and stored / recorded
- Claims spreadsheet kept up to date and submitted to Sales Support Manager monthly
- Professional customer services delivered
- Assist in the showroom when required
- Assist with the pulling of reports as required from mangers and sales team
- Provide printed backorder list to stakeholders
- Documentation, meeting packs, reports and presentations available in advance
- Assist with customer events
- Account queries resolved before sale is processed
- Payment queries resolved with Finance
- Payments followed up
- Over credit risk assessed and payment terms proposed
- New account applications verified, and risks assessed with feedback provided
- Reference checks completed to standard
