About the Role As a Video Editor at Hyrax, you’ll be responsible for creating and editing exciting, unique, and scroll-stopping videos for performance-driven campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Native.
Your role is critical in helping us turn ideas and raw footage into engaging content that grabs attention and drives results.
Key Responsibilities Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit high-quality, engaging video content tailored for social media to stop users mid-scroll
- Cut, color correct, and enhance footage with transitions, graphics, text overlays, animations, and audio
- Optimize video formats, resolutions, and durations to meet platform-specific best practices
Content Adaptation & Versioning
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form formats (e.g., Reels, Stories, Shorts)
- Implement feedback quickly and accurately to meet tight production deadlines Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand campaign goals and translate them into compelling video narratives
- Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute ideas on storytelling, content structure, and motion design
Social Media Trends & Best Practices
- Stay updated on current video trends, platform updates, and emerging tools
- Apply performance data and analytics feedback to improve future edits Asset Management
- Maintain organized file structures and naming conventions for team collaboration
- Archive and back up all final edits, raw footage, and working project files Motion Graphics & Basic Animation (Advantageous)
- Design and integrate simple motion graphics and animated text using tools like After Effects
- Customize templates and create original animations to elevate storytelling
Quality Control
- Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations, platform specs, and brand standards
- Conduct thorough final reviews to catch sync issues, export errors, or visual/audio inconsistencies

Requirements
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (essential) Strong understanding of the power of online and social media platforms
- Excellent command of the English language
- Basic knowledge of sales and marketing principles
- Comfortable with new concepts and able to execute with precision
- Ambitious, goal-oriented, and hungry to grow
