Job description:
We are actively seeking a dynamic Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing department.
You will report directly to our Executive Creative Director.
You will step into a junior role that will require creativity, strategic thinking and creativity.
Your primary focus will encompass three critical areas:
- Brand strategy: In this capacity, you will work in close collaboration with the Executive Creative Director to assist with the development and execution of global brand strategies. Your responsibilities will extend to crafting regional action plans, exploring innovative marketing channels, forging brand partnerships, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning our agency for awards, accolades, and accreditations.
- Internal marketing and communication: As an advocate for our agency's culture, you will help the Executive Creative Director build on our award-winning employee programme to ensure our team remains motivated and aligned with our vision. This strategy will be pivotal in developing a robust staff onboarding plan, leading internal marketing initiatives and form part of our employee retention strategy. Fostering and reinforcing our culture will be among your key responsibilities, along with helping to deliver our clear internal brand and messaging to the team.
- Social media: You will help develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to our target audience and business goals. This includes creating engaging content, managing posting schedules, and analysing performance metrics to continuously optimise our social media presence and drive audience engagement and growth.
Qualifications and attributes:
- A degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas. In depth knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised.
- Proactive and willing to take initiative.
