We are currently seeking a dedicated Marketing intern to coordinate the organization's marketing, communication and branding endeavors. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the success of all marketing operations in alignment with Practice objectives. The overarching aim is to optimize the Practice marketing endeavors, adding significant value to its overall business strategy.
Task and Responsibilities:
ADVERTISING:
- Develop a basic understanding of Lake, Smit and Partners inc. products and branding to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- Assist in managing and monitoring all social media platforms, ensuring that content is regularly posted and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Act as a liaison with the social media consultant, providing support for content development and campaign coordination.
- Help in organizing and managing promotional events for both traditional and digital campaigns.
SIGNAGE & BRANDING:
- Assist in preparing promotional material under the guidance of the operations team.
- Help review and update all current promotional material bi-annually.
- Under the guidance of the operations team, manage and coordinate signage at all venues.
OPERATIONS SUPPORT:
- Support operations department in organizing various growth projects.
- Help evaluate effectiveness of campaigns, providing input for future improvements.
- Collaborate with the relevant leadership teams to develop marketing strategies.
- Under the guidance of the operations team, help identify, explore, and action new business opportunities for the practice.
- Assist in managing and responding to social media feedback in coordination with the operations team.
COMMUNICATION:
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in updating the content on LSP’s intranet.
- Help manage website updates, ensuring the latest information and content are available.
MARKETING ADMINISTRATION:
- Perform daily administrative tasks to support the smooth operation and coordination of the marketing department.
- Help maintaining a marketing database of top referring clinicians.
- Prepare and send welcome emails and introductory packs to new clinicians.
- Research and plan the quarterly newsletter.
- Establish and manage patient survey.
- Perform adhoc relevant marketing related tasks.
GENERAL:
- Assist in planning and coordinating projects aligned with the annual healthcare calendar and business goals.
- Maintain a presence at the various LSP venues to gain insight into hospital group dynamics and patient interaction.
- Engage with clinicians, clinician secretaries and hospital marketing teams when necessary.
- Monitor venues distribution of marketing material, referral pads etc to all referring clinicians rooms.
- Ensure overall appearance of the venues are aligned to the Practice image and branding standards.

- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content management.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Qualifications:
- Matric with English as first language
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/ or communications.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook is essential.
