We are seeking a highly creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team as an intern. In this role, you will not only focus on graphic design but also be open to taking on ad hoc duties as assigned by the marketing team, giving you exposure to a wide range of tasks.

As a Graphic Design Intern, you will collaborate with the marketing team to develop captivating and unique designs that effectively communicate our group brands and messaging. You will be responsible for developing and executing design concepts, as well as producing high-quality artwork, illustrations and infographics that aligns with our group brand guidelines.
The ideal candidate is both artistic and strategic, with a deep understanding of the power of visual communication. You should have a strong brand portfolio that highlights your excellent design skills and your ability to create original visually compelling and cohesive brand identities, illustrations, and artwork from the beginning.
Responsibilities
• Create and develop original, unique design concepts, layouts, and visual solutions that align with our group brand strategy
• Create engaging and eye-catching marketing materials for both print and digital media across multiple business units
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and effective social media content, including graphics and short videos
• Develop and maintain our group brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand representation across our multiple business units
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that all visual elements are consistent with our brand identity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Stay updated with the latest design and marketing trends to bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Manage multiple business unit projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality original design assets
• Assist the marketing team with ad hoc duties as needed to support ongoing projects.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of design styles and techniques.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other graphic design software
• Strong understanding of branding principles, typography, colour theory and design concepts
• Expertise in visual communication and storytelling • Ability to create original, visually compelling designs both graphics and video
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and ideas
• Experience with web design and knowledge of WordPress, HTML and CSS
• Experience in supply chain or logistics environment (advantageous but not required)
