Junior Structural Designer

Structural Designer:

• Design of folding cartons for amongst others, the Healthcare and Cosmetic markets, in a reputable and well respected manufacturing folding carton company.
• Bespoke cartons to house customized products will be designed from concept to become the template for production purposes.
• This will involve taking briefs form the companys account managers and transforming them into cartons that fit the customers brand and vision using materials that boast a sustainable message.

• Packaging in paperboard is the environmentally friendly flavor of the month.
• Creative mind with a passion for three dimensional structural design and knowledge of CAD programs essential.
• Complimentary graphic design skills an advantage but not essential.
• Best suited to an individual who prides themselves as a perfectionist and finds innovation exciting.
• Having both artistic and mathematical acumens will make this function rewarding.
• No Prior knowledge in package design is required but a portfolio of any work done will be an advantage.
• The successful applicant will receive both technical and software training.
