Interior Designer

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design / Architecture.
• 2-5 years of experience in interior design, preferably in residential, commercial, and or hospitality projects. 
• Portfolio demonstrating previous design projects. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with clients to determine project goals, requirements, and budgets.
• Develop conceptual designs, mood boards, and presentations for client approval.
• Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D models using design software.
• Source materials, furniture, and finishes while ensuring budget adherence.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to execute design plans.
• Conduct site visits and oversee project execution to ensure design integrity.
• Stay updated with industry trends, sustainable design practices, and new technologies.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
• Present design proposals to clients and make necessary revisions based on feedback.

TECHNICAL & SOFTWARE SKILLS:

• AutoCAD – 2D drafting and detailing.
• SketchUp – 3D modeling and rendering.
• Revit – BIM and advanced design documentation (preferred).
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) – Presentation and graphic design.
• Enscape / Lumion / V-Ray – Rendering and visualization.
  Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) – Documentation and presentations.

SOFT SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Strong creative and conceptual thinking.
• Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
