Junior Graphic Designer

This position is for one of Agora Tec’s subsidiary businesses, Moksi. Moksi is an exciting start-up in the e-commerce platform space, bringing creative entrepreneurs and buyers together. The culture is creative, fun and entrepreneurial. We love what we do, and we do what we love.

This exciting new business is on the hunt for a Junior Graphic Designer to receive and interpret design briefs. The Junior Graphic Designer will have the ability to create quality digital and conventional designs to convey the message as per the brief received. The secondary focus would be to assist and maintain product quality on Moksi’s products on WordPress.

The Junior Graphic Designer will report directly to the Digital Marketing Specialist.

•Conceptualise and create marketing material, and adjust content which may include but may not be limited to:

5.Street pole ads

7.Posters
8.Expo material
9.TV adverts
10.Vehicle branding
11.Social media adverts
12.Mockups
13.Brochures
14.Print media
15.Emailers
16.Photo editing
17.Logos
18.Social Media posts
•Ensure the quality of work/marketing material is up to standard
•To ensure design deadlines are met
•Ensure there is synergy throughout the work done between the campaigns, which includes brand voice and brand image
•Liaise with service providers to obtain quotations and confirm orders
•Follow approval processes for all quotes and artwork
•Correspond with Digital Marketing Specialist to obtain monthly information for newsletters, organic social media posts and other as needed
•Assist Digital Marketing Specialist with the overflow in approving products on the backend of the website
•Keeping budget, time and production constraints in mind
•Working and collaborating with photographer, videographer and external designers

What we need from you

•A keen eye for aesthetics and details
•Excellent communication skills
•Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
•Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design
•Occasional work-from-home arrangements can be made
•Own transport preferable

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us

•Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related degree
•A minimum of 2 to 3 years of work experience with a strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics

Must be able to work on the following platforms

•Adobe Suite - Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop
•Video Editing experience will be beneficial: Premier Pro, Filmora or Adobe After Effects
•WordPress & WooCommerce Experience – must have experience of working on the backend
