Prepaid24 is a fast-growing South African fintech brand operating in the digital payments and prepaid services space (B2C, B2B & B2G).
Our product lives online — and our brand lives across digital platforms, campaigns, print media, events, and physical environments.
We are looking for a recent design graduate (qualified within the last 12 months) to join our in-house marketing team as a Junior Creative Designer.
This is not a passive internship. You will be directly involved in the creative development and execution of marketing campaigns from concept through to rollout.
For the right candidate, this is a guided career launchpad with hands-on senior mentorship and real responsibility. You will report directly to the Senior Designer and Marketing Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing:
This is a multi-channel role requiring both creative thinking and strong execution.
You will play a key role in:
- Designing and producing high-quality digital and social media content
- Contributing to the planning and conceptualisation of marketing campaigns
- Executing creative campaigns across digital and print formats
- Developing branded collateral for events, activations, and outdoor assets
- Designing sales collateral and toolkits
- Supporting brand rollout across multiple touchpoints
- Assisting across broader marketing initiatives when required
Must-Have Requirements:
- Completed a qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Art Direction, Multimedia Design, Experience Design, Motion Design, or similar within the last 12 months
- Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, layout design, and multi-format execution
- Strong understanding of the social media landscape and digital content design (essential)
- Proven ability to design effectively for digital platforms
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Foundational understanding of UX/UI principles for digital environments
- Strong branding and layout design skills
- Strong executional ability and attention to detail
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines consistently — including when working remotely
- Responsible, reliable, and self-managed
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Willing to travel when required
- Open to assisting in other areas of the marketing department when needed
