Job Summary: We are looking for a self-starter, Junior Brand Manager to support the development and execution of our brand strategy across South Africa, USA, and the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work on multiple global projects, develop your skills, and make a significant impact on our brand's growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Social media management (UK & SA Pages):
- Plan and manage social media platforms in collaboration with brand manager and marketing agency to align with marketing strategies and US pages.
- Tailor and re-work marketing agency’s creative assets to suit UK and SA market
- Suggest and implement strategies to increase engagement and followers on social media.
- Build relationships with online community and engage and respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Manage social media aspect of brand activations & events
Website Management:
- Manage and maintain our South Africa, USA, and UK websites, ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with our brand strategy.
- Coordinate and arrange order send-outs for the South African website.
- Oversee stock management on the South African website, ensuring timely restocking and inventory management.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns via email. Ambassador Program:
- Manage and grow our ambassador program, including selection, briefing, contracts and analysis to measure program effectiveness.
Sponsorship and Collaboration:
- Work with our marketing agency to activate digital elements of sponsorship requests.
- Coordinate new sponsorship and collaboration requests, ensuring alignment with our brand strategy.
- Assist with marketing activation and event logistics, providing support as needed.
Marketing and Communications:
- Assist in creating newsletter briefs and collaborate with our graphic designer to develop engaging content.
- Manage automated flows, ensuring seamless communication with our customers.
- Support the update of marketing budgets, providing insights and recommendations to optimize our spend.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing or brand management role.
- Strong understanding of brand management principles, marketing strategies, and consumer behaviour.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Shopify website management systems and Klaviyo knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
