Rage has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant to Buyer in the Buying Department at our head office in Modderfontein, Gauteng. The Assistant to Buyer will help retail buyers with the purchasing and procurement of goods for future retail sales. Some job aspects are more strategic and involve analysing competitor pricing, negotiation of with suppliers, research trends and administration of buying process.

• Qualification in fashion/consumer science
• Must have strong computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills: verbal and written, is required
• Confidence and persistent
• The ability to keep calm under pressure
• Good numeracy skills
• Methodical & meticulous
• High level of attention to detail
• Organised and a proficient administrator
