Job Description: Digital Marketing & eCommerce Intern
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Digital Marketing & eCommerce Intern to join our dynamic digital marketing team. The intern will work closely with the eCommerce Manager to support online sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and day to day operations of our eCommerce and social platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing, eCommerce, and gaining hands on experience in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the eCommerce Manager in executing and analysing digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, and paid advertising. Learn from outsource agencies.
- Support the creation and optimisation of product listings, ensuring accurate content, pricing, and imagery on all eCommerce platforms.
- Monitor website performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports on sales, traffic, and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to implement new ideas for driving online traffic and increasing conversions.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the digital space relating the travel and luggage industries.
- Help manage customer enquiries, social media interactions and resolve issues related to online orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the planning and execution of promotional campaigns, including seasonal sales and product launches.
- Stay updated with the latest eCommerce and digital marketing trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in eCommerce and digital marketing with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g. WooCommerce) and digital marketing tools is a plus (Meta and Tiktok)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
