Graphic Designer

Tasks:

• Create Tech Packs for numerous international apparel brands.
• Develop Visual Line-Ups in collaboration with the Product Manager. 
• Assist the Product Manager with artwork placements.
• Edit images from photoshoots in preparation for seasonal catalogues.
• Design and create catalogues for seasonal product launches.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms: Ensure that all designs, whether for digital or print, adhere to the company’s visual guidelines and reinforce brand consistency.
• Create in-store branding and POS (Point of Sale) materials: Design eye-catching and effective in-store displays and promotional materials that align with the brand's aesthetic and marketing goals.

Skills:

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with current design trends and best practices.
• Experience with print and digital design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field (preferred but not required).
• 2+ years of experience in graphic design (experience in the fashion industry is a plus). 
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and creativity.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, marketing, and sales. 
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and meet the company’s high standards. 
• Stay updated with industry trends and integrate them into design processes. 
• Provide innovative and creative solutions to design challenges. 
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. 
• Communicate with external vendors and printers when necessary to ensure high-quality print production.

 Additional Requirements:

• Work a five day week at the Umhlanga head offices.
• Ability to adapt and respond to feedback.
• Strong organizational skills.
