- Understand the client’s business, products, and services, as well as their target market and objectives.
- Conduct research on the client’s industry, competitors, and stakeholders.
- Develop an understanding of the client’s current identity, positioning, and messaging.
- Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improving the client’s economic development/business strategy.
- Create and oversee the development and implementation of economic strategies and initiatives.
- Evaluate the status of the client and provide insights and recommendations.
- Monitor industry trends, best practices, and keep the clients up to date on new developments.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and external agencies.
- Manage projects within budget and timelines.
- Prepare reports and presentations for the clients.
- Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Economics, Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Marketing, or related skills.
- Ability to develop and execute economic development strategies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong technical and critical thinking skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office.
