Economic Development Intern

• Understand the client’s business, products, and services, as well as their target market and objectives.
• Conduct research on the client’s industry, competitors, and stakeholders.
• Develop an understanding of the client’s current identity, positioning, and messaging.
• Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improving the client’s economic development/business strategy.
• Create and oversee the development and implementation of economic strategies and initiatives.
• Evaluate the status of the client and provide insights and recommendations.
• Monitor industry trends, best practices, and keep the clients up to date on new developments.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and external agencies.
• Manage projects within budget and timelines.
• Prepare reports and presentations for the clients.

1. Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Economics, Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Marketing, or related skills.
2. Ability to develop and execute economic development strategies.
3. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
5. Strong technical and critical thinking skills
6. Strong project management and organizational skills.
7. Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office.
