Midweight Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Creative Production
• Design graphics and creative assets for digital, print and broadcast platforms.
• Produce social media content, tournament branding and sponsor activation artwork.
• Create visually engaging and on-brand assets for use across Sunshine Tour campaigns and platforms.
• Support the development of creative concepts and campaign ideas.

Tournament and Event Support 

• Deliver real-time graphics and creative support during tournaments.
• Work across weekdays, evenings and weekends where required by the event schedule.
• Support the visual execution of Sunshine Tour events and activations.

Collaboration and Brand Consistency

• Work closely with the marketing, communications and event teams to deliver creative requirements. 
• Ensure consistency in brand identity and visual standards across all outputs.
• Respond to creative briefs and deliver work in line with timelines and campaign needs.

Reporting and Presentation Support 

• Compile and present client-facing reports where required.
•  Assist with campaign performance presentations, social media summaries and visual recaps of activations and events.
• Support the team in packaging design and content outputs into professional presentation format.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
• A relevant degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience

• Minimum 2 to 4 years’ professional experience in a design role.
• Experience producing design work across digital, print and social platforms.
• Experience working on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in sport or live events would be advantageous.

Software / Technical Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. 
• Motion graphics and video editing skills would be advantageous.
• Strong presentation design capability would be advantageous.

• Ability to interpret briefs and turn them into practical creative outputs.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
•  Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
