As a Junior Account Manager, you will support the delivery of PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Petal Ads.
You will balance technical execution—such as campaign builds and daily optimisation with managing a designated portfolio of small accounts under the guidance of senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Technical Support
- Accurately build and structure PPC campaigns, including keyword lists, ad copy, and targeting. Implement tracking inputs, creative assets, and conversion tags correctly.
- Monitor daily campaign performance, flagging anomalies and ensuring compliance with platform policies. Assist with bid adjustments, pacing, and budget management to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Client & Relationship Management.
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for designated small PPC clients, building professional trust and rapport.
- Prepare draft monthly and quarterly reports with accurate performance data (ROAS, CPA, CTR) and strategic commentary.
- Assist Account Managers with client communication and take meeting notes for the team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and creative partners to align assets with campaign goals.
Growth & Efficiency
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to support account strategies.
- Support tests and experiments by setting up variations and tracking results.
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements or automation tools to improve team output.
- Track all tasks and time accurately through internal systems like Basecamp.
Role Requirements
- Educational Qualifications & Experience Required: 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing or paid media internships with exposure to campaign builds and basic account management.
- Required: A diploma or degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Preferred: Active Google Ads Certifications (Search, Shopping, Display, Video).
- Preferred: Experience with e-commerce clients and multi-channel campaign delivery.
Skills & Competencies
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of PPC fundamentals and key metrics like Quality Score and CTR.
- Tools: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with GA4, Looker Studio, or Google Tag Manager is beneficial.
- Mindset: A strong willingness to learn, high ethical standards, and a "People-First" approach to collaboration.
- Execution: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines under supervision.
