We are recruiting for a Junior Digital Marketer for our client within the womens personal care industry based in Umhlanga/La Lucia.
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Junior Digital Marketer.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing various digital marketing channels including social media, YouTube, website, mailers/newsletters, market research, and e-commerce.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, excellent project management skills, and a creative mindset to drive engagement and sales.
- Manage Meta platforms and Google Ads for 3 of our brands
- Create a strategic brand communication monthly plan for each brand.
- Oversee all creative content with the in-house design team.
- Project manage all digital projects to build and monitor the timelines and deadlines with stakeholders
- Organise and run photoshoots if and when needed.
- Curate copy needed for digital content
- Work with budgets to allocate monthly spend.
- Schedule and monitor all paid media.
- Research and stay up to date with competitor activity and social media trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency in analytics tools and staying updated with industry trends.
- 2 plus years of similar experience is an advantage

Responsibilities:
Social Media:
- Manage Instagram and Facebook platforms for a number of our brands, including forecasting yearly targets and budgets.
- Generate analysis reports and quarterly presentations for company-wide department reviews.
- Create strategic brand communication monthly plans and collaborate with the design team to develop engaging content.
- Project manage all digital projects to build and monitor the timelines and deadlines with stakeholders
- Work with budgets to allocate monthly spend.
- Set up, schedule and monitor all paid media.
- Research and stay updated with competitor activity and social media trends.
YouTube:
- Develop strategies and brainstorm with the design team for each YouTube video.
- Write all necessary copy and manage the content creation process.
- Art direct the content creation of YouTube videos and schedule, monitor, and report on all videos.
Website:
- Manage websites to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Build strategies to increase website traffic and manage content creation.
- Coordinate website rebuilds for updates and manage budgets.
Mailers/Newsletter:
- Build and manage databases, plan, brief, and manage the creation of newsletters.
- Write copy, monitor analytics, and implement consumer surveys as needed. Market
Research:
- Monitor the market for new digital marketing trends.
- Investigate new platforms/tools and provide feedback to the team.
- Share relevant articles, webinars, or training events with management to stay updated in the digital field.
E-commerce:
- Develop digital marketing strategies to drive sales and engagement.
- Manage site improvements and technical issues, and brief, manage, and implement content.
- Research, build, and implement promotional offers, and monitor and report on sales.
- Monitor competitor activity and e-commerce trends, manage budgets, and implement
SEO optimization and Google ads. Personal Skills/Attributes:
