Junior Digital Coordinator

What You’ll Do

You’ll handle organic content production, social media execution, and website management for both estates. Hands-on, creative, and fast- paced.

Content Creation & Production

• Shoot & edit short-form video (Reels) using iPhone 
• Design Canva graphics for posts, stories, and carousels
• Capture on-site content: food, wine, events, vineyard moments
• Assist on photoshoots (styling support, second shooter)

Content Planning & Logistics

• Collaborate with Armand to build a 2-month rolling content calendar
• Propose themes, campaigns, and shoot ideas (e.g., “Date Night at Vrymansfontein”, “Pinotage 100 Harvest”)
• Arrange shoot logistics: props, locations, talent, permissions

Social Media Execution

• Monitor engagement in real time
• Respond to comments, DMs, shares – build community with warmth and brand voice
• Interact with key accounts (influencers, media, partners)

Website & Digital Management 

• Update Vrymansfontein and Vondeling sites: new menus, event pages, hero images, blog posts
• Implement new designs and layouts (with guidance)
• Support e-commerce (product listings, wine club sign-ups, inventory sync)
• Design monthly newsletters for Vondeling Wine Club (Mailchimp/Canva)
• Build media kits (press assets, high-res images, brand guidelines)

Reporting & Admin

• Compile weekly engagement reports (reach, saves, DMs, website traffic) 
• Track analytics via Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite
• Maintain asset library (Google Drive organisation)

Who You Are 

Qualification: ND/Degree in Digital Marketing, Multimedia, Web Design, Graphic Design, Film, or related 

Experience: 6–12 months in social media/content (personal brand or freelance counts)

Must-Have Portfolio:

• Active Instagram with original Reels (lifestyle/food/wine preferred)
• At least 1 live website you’ve built or managed (WordPress/Shopify essential)

Tools You Know:

• Canva, CapCut, iPhone videography
• WordPress/CMS (basic HTML/CSS a bonus) 
• Mailchimp or email design
• Google Analytics

Soft Skills:

• Creative eye with attention to detail
• Passion for wine, food, and storytelling
• Reliable transport (essential)
• Eager to learn, proactive, team player
