Are you a creative and detail-oriented marketing professional with a passion for digital campaigns, content creation, and project coordination? VUKA Group is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team and support the marketing efforts of our Power portfolio – a suite of industry-leading events and content platforms driving the future of energy across Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Marketing (HubSpot)
- Draft, build, and manage promotional mailers, newsletters, and event communications.
- Ensure alignment with our brand voice and campaign objectives.
Partner Communication
- Serve as the key contact for all marketing coordination with media and association partners.
- Distribute press releases, coordinate collateral, and seek out new partnership opportunities.
Webinar Campaign Coordination
- Manage the creation and distribution of all webinar-related promotional assets, including on-demand content.
- Ensure all timelines and content accuracy are met. Website Management (WordPress)
- Brief and execute manual updates to our event websites, ensuring all content remains current and relevant.
Creative Briefing & Asset Creation
- Write comprehensive briefs for the studio team to create digital assets aligned with campaign goals.
- When necessary, design banners and graphics independently.
Digital Ad Campaigns
- Set up and manage campaigns in platforms like Feathr, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google.
- Monitor performance and optimise for best results.
Community & Social Media Support
- Assist in managing and responding to social media interactions across all platforms.
Video Editing
- Compile and edit video content for social, campaign, and event use as required.
- Google Ads Monitoring
- Track and analyse campaign performance; flag optimisation opportunities.
Event Collateral & Admin
- Assist in the creation and management of on-site marketing materials.
- Provide general marketing administrative support as needed.
- 1 - 2 years of marketing coordination experience.
- Proficient in tools like HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, and social media platforms.
- Solid understanding of digital advertising platforms (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Basic video editing and graphic design skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects at once.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and team-first mindset.
