About the role:
As an intern Spatial Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional spatial designs and plans for various eventing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Develop spatial designs and plans that meet the project objectives and align with client requirements. This includes conceptualising layouts, spatial arrangements, furniture placement, colour schemes, lighting, and other elements to create visually appealing and functional spaces.
- Space Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of existing spaces to identify constraints, opportunities, and user needs. Gather and analyse data related to spatial requirements, traffic flow, accessibility, and other relevant factors to inform the design process.
- 3D Modelling and Visualization: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, 3D modelling tools, and other relevant technologies to create detailed visual representations of proposed spatial designs.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand their expectations and provide design solutions that align with their needs and objectives.
Requirements and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and 3D modelling tools (SketchUp).
- Strong understanding of spatial design principles, aesthetics, and functionality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
