Graphic / Web Designer

WH Auctioneers is a leading auction house specializing in a wide range of auction services including trucking, vehicles, property, construction, mining, and industrial equipment.

With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to innovation, we are looking to expand our team with a dynamic and creative Junior Graphic & Web Designer. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our marketing team. 

The ideal candidate would be a self-starter and will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing graphics and websites. You will work closely with Marketing Director to create engaging content that promotes our brand and auction events.

Responsibilities:

• Design and produce high-quality graphics for digital and print media, including brochures, flyers, banners, and social media content.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of our website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and campaigns.
• Edit and optimize images for various platforms.
• Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic and web design.

Requirements:

• While a diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field is beneficial, we value demonstrated skills and capabilities above formal qualifications.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
• Experience with WordPress or other content management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing your design skills and previous work.
