Role Description
The Videographer will be responsible for video production tasks, including planning, shooting, and editing videos that align with Xperien's mission and branding. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and operating video cameras and lighting equipment, recording high-quality footage, and collaborating with the team to produce engaging video content.
Operations
- Video Production - Plan, shoot, and produce high quality long form and short-form video content. Capture video for events, campaigns, interviews, training sessions, and organisational activities. Produce video briefs for events and campaigns in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Editing & Postproduction - Edit videos for different platforms (social media, website, presentations). Add graphics, subtitles, sound, and visual effects where required. Ensure all content meets brand and quality standards before publication.
- Digital & Social Media Content - Prepare final video content ready for posting on social media platforms including LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook & Instagram, TikTok). Produce posting copy/captions to accompany video content
- Podcast & Audio-Visual Content - Record and edit podcasts and audio-visual interviews. Manage sound, lighting, and basic studio setups when required.
- Equipment & Asset Management - Operate and maintain video equipment, cameras, microphones, lighting, and mobile devices. Ensure safe handling and storage of all equipment.
- Collaboration & Administration - Work closely with CEO, MD, ITAD Team and the external consultants. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Document video briefs, shooting plans, and postproduction processes. Archive and organise video files and footage.
- Communication - Collaborate with the team to develop video content that aligns with messaging and storytelling goals. Support internal communication initiatives by producing videos for staff updates, or organisational announcements. Contribute to external communications, ensuring video content conveys key messages to stakeholders, partners, and the public
- Main Skills, knowledge & Behaviour
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification, Diploma or Degree in Video Production, Film,Media, or related field.
- Proficiency in Video Production, including editing and post-production processes
- Experience in Camera Operation and Shooting Video
- Knowledge of Lighting techniques for video production
- Strong skills in handling and maintaining Camera equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Creative mindset and a passion for storytelling through video
- An educational background in Film Studies, Media, or a related field is a plus
- Familiarity with video editing software is an advantage
