Vacancy: Intern Graphic Designer Location: Zimbali Lakes Resort, Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal Position Type: Full-time - Intern Reporting To: Marketing Manager About Zimbali Lakes Resort Zimbali Lakes is a premier mixed-use luxury resort and lifestyle destination on South Africa’s North Coast. The estate comprises multiple high-end business units including residential developments, hospitality, retail, golf, sports and lifestyle offerings. Our brand is design-led, experience-driven, and visually distinctive. We are seeking an Intern Graphic Designer to support and elevate creative output across all business units, ensuring visual consistency, production excellence, and brand integrity. Role Overview As the Intern Graphic Designer, you will support the marketing department and team to manage the end-to-end creation of visual and motion assets, from concept to final production. This role requires a strong balance of creative design thinking, technical print knowledge, digital execution, and short-form video capability. You will work closely with marketing, sales, events, production and marketing teams to deliver high-quality creative assets across print, digital, outdoor, and social platforms. Key Responsibilities Graphic Design & Visual Content • Design high-quality artwork for print and digital platforms, including brochures, signage, banners, social media creatives, advertisements, and event collateral • Develop outdoor and large-format branding assets such as flags, gazebos, mesh, wallpapers, vehicle branding, and sublimation materials • Ensure all artwork aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and visual standards Print & Production Execution • Prepare, optimise, and supply print-ready files according to production specifications • Work with printers and production teams to ensure colour accuracy and quality output • Collaborate with production teams to manage colour, layout, materials, and finishing requirements • Administration of quotes and invoices Brand & Team Collaboration • Work closely with marketing and branding teams to ensure creative alignment across multiple business units • Maintain consistency of visual language across all touchpoints • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Asset & Workflow Management • Maintain organised libraries of design and video assets, templates, and version control • Apply strong quality control across all deliverables • Stay current with design, motion, and social media trends to keep content fresh and platform-optimised Events • Events support and administration Requirements Experience & Skills • Minimum 1-3 years’ graphic design experience (print and digital) • Proven experience combining graphic design. Requirements Experience & Skills
