I am a 21-year-old female who is incredibly passionate about her studies. My degree has changed my life for the better because it has enabled me to stimulate my mind and think creatively. I have grown immaculately over the years and I hope to continue using the teachings of this degree to help grow your brand to places beyond your imagination.

My name is Amber-Rose Linley, I am a third year student at Vega and love all things social media, design and copywriting. I am currently working part-time as a social media manager for a Mauritius-based marketing agency, and plan to start my own female-led marketing agency one day.

I am a person who works hard and is enthused, driven by myself, dependable, and responsible. I am a responsible team player who can easily adjust to any difficult circumstances. I have the ability to operate well both independently and in a collaborative setting. I can stay on task and meet deadlines even when under duress.

Amongst many other things, my BA in Strategic Brand Communication degree has given me the skills to communicate well with (large groups of) people and taught me the correct ways to communicate, such as choosing the right platform. I can think on my feet and have good problem-solving skills and decision-making skills. I am also able to come up with very elaborate ideas that work well in real life situations.

I strive to develop disruptive and meaningful solutions using a combination of critical and creative thinking. Consistency, taking initiative and being easy to work with are some of my greatest strengths. I am an ambitious person with a collaborative spirit and believe in continuously expanding my industry knowledge and skills.

I find that my creativity thrives best within the realm of beauty and fashion, but I am always open to exploring new horizons and acquiring new skills.

I am a well spoken individual who finds excitement and intellectual stimulation in communicating with mass groups of people. Whether that be through a digital lease or face to face on any given platform. I find opportunity in challenges and facing new phenomena as an opportunity for growth and development in my already given talent. While group work can come off as a challenge to many, I find that working with other people is a space in which I thrive as my ideas and perspectives are challenged. This is an opportunity for me to grow in my understanding of the brand and communication world. I have worked in the fashion and beauty industry for over ten years. As a makeup artist and plus-size model, I constantly look for insights in any environment or situation and understand the importance of digital and social media. I am creative, hardworking, and adaptable. I’m a fast and willing learner, and I always want to better myself hence still seeing the importance of taking on a degree after already getting work experience.
