My brand MaryB holds the same core values and attributes that I have such as elegance, feminism and a wish to do better for the environment. I draw on my knowledge of fashion, illustration and design to come up with innovative sustainable designs and solutions to suit all client’s needs.

Jenny I was born in Taiwan but moved to South Africa in my early childhood. I love both my countries and wish to incorporate the culture I have embedded into my designs. I believe in taking strong ideas from culture and helping people achieve individuality.

I am a long-term enthusiast for fashion. I have a strong ability in ideation, sketching and deep skills in pattern making, garment construction and adobe suite. I am a self-starter, able to take abstract thoughts and ideas, transform them into a visual aesthetic. I can push boundaries. My goal is to one day have a company that will help many young people, especially women to become financially independent & lead their own lives.

I am a creative individual who enjoys challenges and has a keen eye for detail. Being a dedicated worker, some of my skills include design and construction of innovative collections and working with Adobe platforms. My brand, PETRINA, is an authentic fusion of eveningwear and streetwear. I aim to share my designs with the world and thrive in the fashion industry.

My journey began with an unrecognized obsession with fashion. While immersing myself in the vastness of the saturated industry, I found a personal connection that has allowed me to excel in my design style. This has given me a sense of admiration for underappreciated cultures. My determination, problem-solving skills, and love of CAD and concept development have allowed me to excel in fashion.
