Hi! I’m Aleks, a communication designer and illustrator who has a love for detail and the beauty found within the intricacies of everyday life. I believe that design is not set in stone; it is an art that is free-flowing and should be able to be viewed and interpreted in a new angle by each individual experiencing it. I design by seeking out the whimsy in what we often perceive to be mundane, allowing it to flourish into something wondrous. After all, to live in a future that is beautiful, we must begin by acknowledging the beauty that is already present.

As a designer, my work is grounded in authenticity, purpose, and creative impact. I bring bold ideas to life through visuals that connect on a human level, challenging norms, inspiring thought, and driving meaningful change. Guided by empathy and sustainability, my approach goes beyond designing for the present; it’s about creating work that matters, resonates, and leaves a lasting impression.

People often mispronounce my name, Abia, so I adapted to Bee. It began with a childhood Kewpie doll that had two faces, one playful and one calm, which taught me that I don’t have to be just one thing. That sense of duality and adaptability shapes who I am as a designer. I draw from nostalgia, culture, and the small things that make us who we are. She can be this, she can be that, but she’ll always be Bee, staying true to myself while adapting to an ever-changing world.
