Carmen Gunkel
PGDip Instructional Design
I’m an educational experience designer passionate about creating transformative learning environments. With a background in Information Design (and now Instructional Design), I approach education as a complex system shaped by context, content, pedagogy, and human experience. My research informs my practice, shaping how I make sense of the world (and education’s role within it). Grounding my work in empathy, critical reflection, and a commitment to authentic knowledge construction, I believe in designing holistic, inclusive, and engaging learning experiences that transcend socio-economic barriers. For me, education is both a design challenge and a human endeavour.

PGDip Instructional Design
I am an instructional designer with a strong background in education, having begun my career as a teacher. My passion lies in creating engaging, learner-centred materials that make complex ideas clear and accessible. I combine creativity, pedagogy, and technology to design effective learning experiences that inspire curiosity and growth. I enjoy transforming content into meaningful interactions that enable learners not only to understand but also to apply what they learn in real-world contexts.
Marga de Vos
PGDip Instructional Design
Hi there, my name is Marga. My design roots lie in architecture, but over the years, I have transitioned to designing learning experiences rather than physical spaces. Guided by experience, I bring structure to learning journeys, strategy to storytelling, and clarity to complex problems. My aim is to create engaging, intuitive experiences that feel thoughtful, connected, and built to last.
