The Vega vision of graduating a new breed of industry-ready iconoclasts is perhaps most fully realised in the famous Vega Brand Challenge. This exciting annual event puts students in the real world in order to give tangible substance to what it means to be creatively strategic and strategically creative. 

Vega second year students are expected to do a full 360-degree brand analysis (Brand Activation) to ensure they are exposed to real ‘live’ client briefs to prepare them for the industry. Vega follows an applied theory, design thinking-based model that aims to identify and solve problems and spans over two weeks from the 9 to 20 July.

Brand Challenge for third year and honours students runs over a four-week duration from 6 September to 10 October. Student teams investigate complex brand scenarios from all angles to identify the key issues facing the brand. They then address these issues with the development of brand strategies, campaign strategies and creative communication.

Throughout the academic year dedicated teams of Brand Challenge Navigators (lecturers) on each of the Vega campuses, assess Brand Challenge requests from potential clients. Contact us should your brand be facing a challenge in need of an original and meaningful solution.
